Dr. Deborah Overman

Dr. Deborah Overman is originally from Hinsdale, Illinois, but has lived in the Ozarks for most of her adult life. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009. Prior to this time, she was a Canine Search Specialist with FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force, dedicated to training and handling canines used to search for persons buried in collapsed structures. She and her search dog “One Soc” were deployed to the World Trade Center to assist the search and rescue efforts following the 9-11 terrorist attack. Dr. Overman moved to Fayetteville, AR and joined Springdale Animal Hospital in September 2014. She is married to her husband John and they have 3 dogs. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, usually doing something fun outdoors!
